Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival at Kochi Airport to Munnar (3 hr 50 min /126.6 km Approx.)
On the first day when you arrive at Cochin Airport our escort will pick up you and we will drive to Munnar which is a popular hill station of District Idukki; has been a summer resort of British India! Many reminisces of that era can still be seen in form of old buildings and houses. With 3 rivers flowing in; it has got a Savannah Forest, scenic valleys, splashy waterfalls, sprawling tea – plantations and sky – touching hills. It's simply nature which sings all around! So, we will begin with seeing the Tea Plantation and the entire process of making tea (TATA Tea Museum). It will make for most of the day. In the evening check in hotel for night stay at Munnar.
Day 2
More of Munnar
On the Second day of the tour, we shall explore more of Munnar. The first thing we will visit is the Ervikulam National Park. It is famous for Endangered Mountain Goat of South India and Nilgiri Tahr. Also see epiphytic Orchids, wild balsams, Nilgiri Langur, Indian Bison, Leopard, Tiger and so on! Lunch will be at the resort in National Park only by own expenses. After lunch we shall move on to see Matupetty Dam, Anaimudi Peak and the Echo Point. You can take a walk in the local market in late evening if you wish. Night stay shall be at Munnar hotel.
Day 3
Munnar – Thekkady (2 hr 48 min /91.4 km Approx.)
After breakfast get ready to drive your next destination or a glimpse of wildlife in a close range. Thekkady, eminent as the "Wildlife destination of Kerala" or “Spice bag of Kerala" has unique and abundantly rich with flora and fauna. Before to reach this jungle destination its scenic landscapes, backwater attractions and the serene atmosphere mesmerize you much!!! Our executive will attend to check in your hotel/resort and later refreshing go for an optional Kathakali show, spice plantation visit, elephant ride. You also have an amazing boat ride in Periyar Lake which flows through the Periyar tiger reserve and will have chance to watch the wild animals like elephant, Bison, Sambar, Deer etc. are Roaming the both shores. Apart from this, the destination has various other opportunities such as trekking, wildlife train, bamboo rafting, border hiking and rock climbing. (Own Cost) Later return to hotel for overnight stay in Thekkady hotel.
Day 4
Thekkady – Alleppey (3 hr 57 min /137.8 km Approx.)
After breakfast, check out the Hotel we will drive to alleppey It's best known for houseboat cruises along the rustic Kerala backwaters, a network of tranquil canals and lagoons. Beside the natural allures of this town do not miss to visit the other famous attractions like Alleppey beach, backwaters and Krishnakumar Palace Malakal Raja Rajeswari Temple, Champakulam. After complete the sightseeing check in to the hotel for dinner & Overnight stay in Alleppey hotel.
Day 5
Alleppey – Kovalam (4 hr 21 min /171.1 km Approx.)
Next morning, soon after you finish your breakfast, after this going to Kovalam on the way rest of sightseeing’s Check into the hotel and get refreshed. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Drop by at the Halcyon Castle. It was constructed in the early 1930s for the royal family to have a retreat by the beach. Now it has been converted into a museum. Rest in evening visit Light House, Hawa Beach, Samudra than return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6
Kovalam – Kanyakumari – Kovalam (2 hr 12 min /77.0 km Approx.)
Post breakfast the next day, you’ll head out for Kanyakumari. After having a prayerful time at the temple, you can visit the Kanyakumari Beach, which offers a truly unique experience. Take a ferry ride to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, the place where Swami Vivekananda meditated and attained enlightenment. You can also visit the majestic statue of Thiruvalluvar, which is located right next to Vivekananda Memorial. There are many other temples located in the place which you can visit and spend some peaceful time. You can do some shopping. In Kanyakumari, you’ll find ornaments and other handicraft products, especially made out of sea shells.
Day 7
Kovalam - Trivandrum Drop (40 min /16.5 km Approx.)
Next morning, soon after you finish your breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to the Trivandrum Airport on the way shopping than we will say Goodbye to you for your Onward Journey.
